Working With Us

Vacancy 1 – Analyst

Our new Analyst will be a recent graduate (or be able to demonstrate graduate-level skills) in finance, economics or business.  Numerate and able to write concisely, he or she will have an understanding of Project Finance, Infrastructure or Economic Development.

As a flexible and adaptable person your responsibilities will vary according to the projects we are working on at any given time.  Typically you will be asked to extract data from financial/economic models and other data sources, summarise and analyse data and produce written reports and presentations.  You will also carry out research on published papers and other sources. You may be asked to contribute to presentations to clients and colleagues.

Modern language skills will be an advantage.

You will based in our office in Leith, Edinburgh, and may be asked to travel occasionally within Scotland and beyond.

Vacancy 2 – Consultant

Our new Consultant will have several years of professional experience since qualifying in finance, economics or another transferable discipline.  Highly numerate, proficient with Excel and able to write concisely, he or she will have experience in Project Finance, Infrastructure or Economic Development.  This might be in the public sector, industry or as an adviser.

As a flexible and adaptable person your responsibilities will vary according to the projects we are working on at any given time.  Typically you will help write proposals and design project methodologies.  You will develop, populate or review financial/economic models and interpret results from these and other primary and secondary sources.  Another aspect of the role will be working with funders and their advisers to reach a successful conclusion on Project Finance deals.

You will be responsible for producing written reports, delivering presentations to clients and colleagues.
